ENGAGEMENTS!!!!

WEDDING UPDATE! Engagement and bridal pictures are back, rings are done, had some fun showers, announcements are almost mailed, apartment found and Mike's moving in this week, many many pictures scanned, and more and more in love with Mike everyday! Here are a few overdue pictures from our engagements taken in Memory Grove! This was SO much fun, sorry I cant post the bridals until after the wedding!

Mike's Graduation

The wedding plans are going great!! They are keeping me so busy=lack of my blogging, but I am having so much fun!! Last weekend Mike officially graduated from BYU-Idaho!!! He finished up his last semester through BYU-Idaho online because his internship turned into a job here in Salt Lake...that and I like to think he stayed because he met me!! :) Congrats Mike-I love you! It was so fun to be back in Rexburg, see old teachers, family, friends, and roommates. I was amazed at how much has changed at BYU-Idaho in the last year since I graduated.
On the way home we stopped in Clifton to go to my old roommate Crystal's wedding reception. It was fun to catch up with all these girls and show off my cute fiance!!

I'M ENGAGED!!!!!

Thursday night Mike proposed in front of the Draper Temple!!!!! We will be getting married June 20th in the Salt Lake Temple! I am the luckiest girl alive! He is so sweet and thoughtful, I love it!

For all of you who have been asking...here is the story! Thursday night Mike and I were just going to do our own thing...he would do homework and I would catch up on other things. As I was sitting on my bed balancing my checkbook (Mike seems to like this detail about me :) I saw Mike pull up to my house looking pretty studly! I myself had just started laundry and put on some old clothes because I was just going to be at home for the night (or at least I thought).

With a huge smile Mike said "Hey lets go for a drive!" He almost pulled me out the door with no shoes on! It was at this point I knew exactly what was going on and where we were going. We drove to the new Draper Temple close to my house and sat on the temple hill overlooking the whole Salt Lake Valley.

Mike had made a cute book of pictures on the computer from many of our past dates with funny sayings, pictures, and memories. He told me eternity wasn't long enough when he thought about being with me. So sweet!

He then asked me to MARRY HIM!!!! I said "Of course.... I'm SO glad you asked!!! I said that because I was trying SO hard to be patient because we already had the temple date for almost 2 weeks prior to this! (We were just waiting on the ring) It was getting difficult not to tell people. So, its official and SO MUCH fun! Plans are already going well....I cant wait to marry the boy of my dreams!!!!

Valentines Fun!

The day before Valentines Day (Friday the 13th) Mike took me to a dance held at the University of Utah. We went to dinner at Buca di Beppo's in Salt Lake with a big group of Mike's friends then went to the dance held in the stadium tower overlooking Salt Lake City. I had such a fun time! Here are a few fun pictures from the night!

We got so much snow the whole week of Christmas. It was definitely a white Christmas!! Here are a few fun pictures of my Dad and brothers building a giant snowman in our front yard the day after Christmas.

Blogging Accident :(

I am sad to say that I was changing my blog settings the other day and messed the whole thing up...my format, background, and links to other blogs somehow disappeared with one click. It was late and after that I just got frustrated with it and gave up. I just wanted to put that out there so you don't judge me by my blog...or lack of blog :) Someday I will get around to fixing it, somehow I will find all your links again and re-add them one by one. Unless somebody knows of an easier way to get them back--do tell!
