For all of you who have been asking...here is the story! Thursday night Mike and I were just going to do our own thing...he would do homework and I would catch up on other things. As I was sitting on my bed balancing my checkbook (Mike seems to like this detail about me :) I saw Mike pull up to my house looking pretty studly! I myself had just started laundry and put on some old clothes because I was just going to be at home for the night (or at least I thought).
With a huge smile Mike said "Hey lets go for a drive!" He almost pulled me out the door with no shoes on! It was at this point I knew exactly what was going on and where we were going. We drove to the new Draper Temple close to my house and sat on the temple hill overlooking the whole Salt Lake Valley.
Mike had made a cute book of pictures on the computer from many of our past dates with funny sayings, pictures, and memories. He told me eternity wasn't long enough when he thought about being with me. So sweet!
He then asked me to MARRY HIM!!!! I said "Of course.... I'm SO glad you asked!!! I said that because I was trying SO hard to be patient because we already had the temple date for almost 2 weeks prior to this! (We were just waiting on the ring) It was getting difficult not to tell people. So, its official and SO MUCH fun! Plans are already going well....I cant wait to marry the boy of my dreams!!!!

Or, We should just set up a carpool system from the reunion to your reception! I will have Ruby make an announcement at the end, "If everybody could make their way to the exits we will be hopping on busses to Amber's Reception!"
Amber, hey,(this is Mike's aunt in Hawaii). I hope you don't mind. Your blog was at the top of his list in his blog. I couldn't resist. You two are so magically cute! We knew Mike had to find the perfect girl for him and it looks and sounds like you more than fit the bill. I am so excited for you both. I know you already know, but I just want to say that Mike is one of the most incredible people I know. My mom and I have always said, "whoever gets him will be the happiest woman in the world!" He takes life and adds his amazing touch to it (always leaving everything and everyone around him better than it was) and I can't even explain the beautiful outcome and benefits people have reaped because they have rubbed shoulders with him! I'm so glad he has found his dream girl! Have a wonderful life together and enjoy every minute! You both deserve it.
