I had a great experience and learned so much from the people I worked with. I learned so much about healthcare from writing articles and radio scripts. My favorite projects were always the web related ones...to create a new promo or news announcement, then post it and be able to see my work online!! They treated me so well and I really did enjoy the time and the work I did there. However, I am sad to say this is no longer my view....BUT I am excited to tell you I found a job working in the HR department of Young Living, an essential oils company. http://www.youngliving.com/index.faces This is a company I was looking into before my internship that had an opening in HR and asked me if I would be interested. My first day will be this coming Monday. I am really excited and know I will learn a lot about HR....not to mention it will now take me 5 minutes to get to work compared to the hour I spent before!!!

The View From Up Here...
Many of you have reminded me that I still needed to post a picture of the "view from the top" of my office in the Key Bank building. Below is a picture from my office as an Intern with Intermountain Healthcare on the 21 floor. This picture was taken while standing at my desk....Amazing huh?

That really is a great view! I stare at a wall all day. :) After reading your post I just realized why the name of your new company was so familiar to me. Shayla's family is very into essential oils. When I watched the kids for a week they left me with this huge book from Young Living basically on what to do in case of an emergency. Not going to lie, it made me real nervous to have no medicine in the house and just hundreds of little bottles filled with crazy oil.
Amber that is so excited about your new job! I hope you like it and that it works out. It sounds great with it being so close! Your view was absolutely fantastic. I'm sure you loved seeing that when you were working!

Wow, not even done with college a year and you've already had 2 jobs! Way to go Amber! Lol thats really exciting, you'll have to let me know how you like your new job and how it is doing HR. A little break from the PR world but it might be nice! Good luck!!
